During an advanced creative writing class at the University of Georgia, I drafted “Manuscripts” for an in-class workshop. I made a few suggested edits before submitting the story for publication consideration in the 52nd edition of Stillpoint Literary Magazine. It was published in 2021. “Manuscripts” is an honest reflection on family and ancestry.
